The best new beauty this month, from facial oils and hydrating serums, to glossy hair mists.

Follow from left to right.

1. Let it glow

Here at Style we love a facial oil, so were excited to try beloved Kiwi brand Essano’s new Vitamin C Super Glow Facial Oil ($30), developed with 5 per cent vitamin C and the added power of eight natural oils and extracts to target a spectrum of skin concerns from inflammation, ageing and dryness to sensitivity and dullness. Low irritation, non greasy and easily absorbed, it works perfectly under moisturiser and SPF layers for day, or for overnight use.

2. Nailed it

Building on the success of Eco Lashes, Ardell has extended its sustainability endeavours from falsies to fingers, with its Nail Addict Eco Manis ($22) made from 94 per cent recycled plastic, packed in 100 per cent recycled and sustainable materials. In a selection of designs and shades, each pack contains 30 nails, glue, a file and cuticle stick. To apply, clean and buff nails, select a nail tip that fits your natural nail, apply a thin layer of glue, place your nail tip over and hold firmly for 10-15 seconds.

3. Hydration hit

Christchurch-based beauty and wellness brand Jeuneora has expanded its range of cult skincare products yet again with the release of Hydrating Booster ($48), a highly efficacious serum containing low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid and key botanical ingredients (from beetroot extract and jojoba to cucumber seed oil and shea butter) that work together to provide a mega hit of hydration and support your skin barrier for happy, bouncy skin.

4. Kissy kissy

Kiwi lipstick queen Karen Murrell has dropped two new lip scrubs in Mint and Watermelon ($32 each) just in time for summer. Natural waxes and sugar particles help to hydrate and gently exfoliate dry, flaky and chapped skin from your lips – use to prep your lips for lipstick during the day or at night before bed by gently applying then removing with a soft washcloth.

5. Peachy screen

SPF50? So last summer! The hot new protection factor on the block comes via COOLA’s SPF70 Classic Body Sunscreen in Peach Blossom ($62). Designed for long, active days outdoors (with 80 minute water resistance) but with an ultra lightweight, summery fragrance and skin hydrating/ nourishing formula for everyday use, it also ticks all the ‘clean’ boxes.

6. Glossy locks

To ensure hair is sorted for the coming season, Chloe Zara’s eponymously named haircare range has added a Glossifying Hair Mist ($59) to its product stable, designed to instantly detangle knots, control frizz, help prevent breakage and provide an extra glossy finish. The lightweight conditioning spray uses 100 per cent natural or naturally derived ingredients and has been clinically proven to protect hair against heat and UV damage using a powerful key active, HAIR Oléobooster – a unique fusion of tamarind, shikakai and coconut oil.
